Who are we?
The Pro-Language Platform is a non-governmental organisation that works to promote Catalan language as a social cohesion tool. We work in the different Catalan-speaking territories, across the socioeconomic and audiovisual sphere, in linguistic welcoming to new arrivals, in the universities and in education and the administrations, to mention but some of our spheres of action.
The success we have achieved since 1993 has brought us different recognitions, such as the National Culture Award 2008 for the Social Projection of Catalan Language awarded by the Autonomous Government of Catalonia.
Territorial branches.
The Pro-Language Platform has territorial branches all over the Catalan speaking territory: in el Maresme, Vallès Occidental and Oriental, in l'Empordà, el Tarragonès and in different points of the Valencian Community.
